Tiffany has worked in the Medical Claims Industry for over 25 years, primarily in the Outpatient and Ambulatory sector. She started her career at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York City at the age of 17 as an intern, then went on to be hired as a full-time employee. During this time, Mrs. Robinson was in charge of overseeing the claims processing for over a dozen multi- specialty providers within the Department of Medicine. Her role also consisted of orienting all new billing staff to departmental functions.
Over the next decade Mrs. Robinson would work with countless Medical Providers, assisting them with various issues related to Revenue Cycle Management, while also working full-time as a Medical Billing Manager in Private Practice. Mrs. Robinson also played a key role in helping Public Health Organizations become early successful adopters of Electronic Medical Record technology in her role as Deputy Director of Operations for Public Health Solutions from 2009-2012.
Mrs. Robinson currently serves as the Director of Revenue Cycle Management Operations for a private organization with operations across multiple territories in the United States. In addition to her leadership role, she shares her expertise as “Coach Tiff,” offering online courses on the Teachable platform covering a variety of Revenue Cycle Management topics.
Tiffany Robinson holds an Undergraduate degree in Healthcare Administration. She is an AHIMA certified Medical Coder, as well as a certified Clinical Document Expert through AAPC. Mrs. Robinson has also obtained certification through The Mitchell Hamline School of Law in the area of Law Leadership in Healthcare. Tiffany Robinson strongly believes that to stay relevant in healthcare, one must commit to lifelong learning.
